The stairs enable likewise access over three stories to the library as to the living space. An old fire partition to the house next door revealed, underneath its friable plaster, bricks of various colors of clay. After being newly grouted, they rest in their natural beauty as illuminated background of the open library. The height of the book serials is aligned with the inclination of the stairs to enable a free access to the shelves.
